About Us
The Newcastle Chapter of the Harley Owners Group was first registered with Harley-Davidson as the "Hunter Valley Chapter" on 4 April 1990 and incorporated as a registered club on 1 February 1993.
In 1995, the chapter's name was changed to the Broadmeadow Chapter. The Chapter Newsletter was renamed HOGSWILL in 1997 by Tony Schott. In 1998, the Broadmeadow Chapter hosted the NSW State Rally at Motto Farm against the NSW Chapter, who eventually won the event.
In 2007, during significant flooding in the Newcastle area, many of our club's records were destroyed.
With over 300 members, the Broadmeadow Chapter continues to be a strong part of H.O.G. taking out the 2010 NSW State H.O.G. Rally event.
2010 also sees us celebrating our 20th Anniversary.
2015 also sees us celebrating our 25th Anniversary.
2019 saw our name change to Newcastle Chapter.
2022 Fraser Motorcycles Newcastle moves to a new facility in Mayfield West.
2024 the Newcastle chapter hosted an extremely successful NSW/ACT State Rally where close to 500 HOGS Australia wide gathered at
The Mayfield West store, for a rally to be talked about for years to come.
2025 With approximately 142 members, we are looking forward to our 35th Anniversary on April the 4th this year.
